Mac Print Driver installation for TASKalfa MZ7001ci Series Range
This document is a Quick Guide on how to Install the Kyocera Mac Print Driver on Kyocera TASKalfa MZ7001ci on a Macintosh computer. Full instructions can be found in the Mac Driver 5.5 Setup Guide in the Mac Print Driver package. The mac used for this installation was on iMac with Apple Mi chip and macOS Tahoe 26.1.
1. Download Mac Print Driver from Kyocera Download Centre.
2. Install the Mac Print Driver on MacOS.

3. App Printer from the Printers & Scanners on MacOS.

4.Select the O icon for ‘Line Printer Daemon – LPD protocol.
5.Enter the IP Address on the device.

E.g. Kyocera TASKalfa MZ7001ci KPDL
7. Enter a name g. showroom, and then select Add.

8. Check or change the options to the correct setting.

9. Review the setting on the printer and it will have the PDL as KPDL.


10. Run a test job by using the Print Panel.
11. Open a file, and select print.
12. Select the Printer … then scroll down the Printer Options and select Print Panel.

13. Select the Setting …

14. Change your setting in the Printer properties and select OK to print the file.
