Sydney, Australia — 9th March 2026 — Kyocera Document Solutions Australia is pleased to announce the transition of Huon IT into the Kyocera brand, marking the next step in the evolution to offer customers a complete technology service built to support businesses at every stage. From April 1st, 2026, Huon IT, which joined the Kyocera Group following its 2019 acquisition, will fully operate under the Kyocera brand, uniting a broad portfolio of business technology solutions within a single, integrated organisation.

This transition is designed to strengthen Kyocera’s ability to support customers across the full spectrum of their technology needs, built on three strategic pillars:

  • Print Solutions
  • Document Automation
  • ICT Services

By consolidating these capabilities, Kyocera will provide customers with a single, trusted technology partner, simplifying vendor management while expanding access to an end-to-end range of services that support organisations at every stage of their technology journey.

“Our goal is to make business technology simpler, more secure, and more cohesive for our customers,” said Motohiro Sato, Managing Director at Kyocera Document Solutions Australia. “Huon IT’s deep expertise in managed IT and security services, combined with Kyocera’s strong reputation in print and document workflow solutions, strengthens our ability to deliver a unified and scalable experience that meets the needs of modern organisations.”

Keri Neave, General Manager of Huon IT added, “I want to ensure all existing Huon IT customers that this transition to unify with Kyocera will have no impact on the excellent technology support our team has been delivering customers for over 35 years.” She added, “By uniting under the Kyocera banner, we can leverage their global strength in technology and innovation for our customers, driving greater business efficiency and improved outcomes.”

The merger reflects Kyocera’s commitment to continually evolving its offering alongside the demands of businesses, while ensuring they remain at the forefront of technology. By bringing Huon IT fully into the Kyocera brand, the organisation is positioned to offer a more integrated, future-ready approach to business technology, helping customers reduce complexity, strengthen digital resilience, and maximise productivity.
