China Plant achieves Platinum certification in RBA audit

Kyocera Document Solutions Inc. (President: Takashi Nagai) is pleased to announce that its factory, KYOCERA Document Technology (Dongguan) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter: China Plant), has achieved Platinum certification, becoming the first within our group to do so, under the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) Validated Assessment Program^* (VAP) audit program.

RBA is a corporate alliance aimed at supporting safe labor environments and workers' rights within the supply chain of the electronics industry. RBA conducts a Validated VAP audit program to evaluate whether member companies comply with high standards related to labor, ethics, environment, health and safety, and management systems based on the RBA Code of Conduct, laws, and regulations. We are proud to announce that China plant has achieved Platinum certification, awarded to those who score a perfect 200 points in the VAP audit program.
