The RBA is an industry alliance aimed at supporting safe working conditions and workers’ rights throughout the electronics supply chain. Through its VAP audit program, the RBA evaluates whether member companies’ labor practices, ethics, environmental management, health and safety, and management systems comply with the RBA Code of Conduct, applicable laws and regulations, and other requirements at a high standard. Our Hirakata Plant achieved a perfect score of 200 points in the VAP audit and was awarded the Platinum certification which is given to facilities that attain this full score.

Since its founding, Kyocera has operated under the corporate motto “Keiten Aijin” (Respect Heaven, Love People), pursuing the material and spiritual well-being of all employees while contributing to the progress and development of human society as part of its corporate philosophy. The Company has complied with the environmental and safety laws, matters to which it has agreed, and its own voluntary standards. Going forward, we will continue to leverage our accumulated technologies and know-how and engage in communication with a wide range of stakeholders, participate in and support social contribution activities, and work to resolve social issues.
